What is a 1986 Samantha worth?..

I kinda think you got a deal, if everything is in really good condition. White bodies are pretty rare, especially if the doll is mint and has the original box- not to mention the outfits etc. From my experience, I think white-bodied dolls on e-bay usually go for ninety dollars and up when the actual auction ends.

I am no expert, but with the amount of stuff you got, I don't think you overpaid! Think about how much it would have costed to buy it new back then . . .and figure in availability of mint dolls and pm clothes . . .

I don't think you over paid at all.
Those things would have cost you more than $150 to buy from AG and some people value PM higher.

If you do want to sell on ebay, I would sell in the condition you have them in and not "love" the doll any further.

I know that there was a white bodied Samantha that went for over $300 on Ebay a few weeks ago. She was absolutely gorgeous. So I don't think you overpaid. I think you got a great deal. The thing about Ebay is that you never know. It depends who is bidding at the time you put her for sale. You might want to try a BIN.

I have mint white body 1986 German made Samantha,complete with her original german made dress and acessories and the real indian head penny,etc.she's also got her original burgandy box with the pleasant company band that goes around it,her meet broucher,and cardboard book holder.I found her today in a local secound hand paper and would like to resale her,how much is she worth,like on ebay? [img]graemlins/wonder.gif[/img] edited to say that I also got her play dress and pinafore,tagged made in Hungry(?) 1989,her night gown tagged china 1989,and brithday dress,1989,and her wiker table and chairs/with cushions and original box,+ the doll and her meet acessories for $150.00 I sorta feel like I payed too much- to be able to resale the stuff after I enjoy it for awhile.
